Today was the best last day of the season I have EVER had!
Hello everyone,
It has been a few days since the last report.
After heliskiing for a week in Iceland, we took off for the Lyngen Alps in Norway. We had issues leaving Reykjavik because of the volcano but we eventually got to Oslo a day later took a connecting flight to Tromso.
Head down, skinning through the snow against the Arctic winds and endless sun....clad in the Boy Briefs and Sleeveless Hoody?!
Hello everyone.
Sorry for the lack of news over the last few days. We have been BUSY here and shooting a lot. So far, Grant gunderso took 4500 photos.
Over the last 3 days we have been skiing perfect untracked spring conditons (almost as nice as powder) and got to ski until pretty much 10pm everyday with the sun on the horizon.
We are very lucky to have such good weather. And to top it off, we had a full afternoon of heliskiing today with 6 drops and 5 first descents.
Hello everyone,
Icelad Day 2:
We drove from Reykjavik to Ukareyri then to Dalvik, hit some dirty roads and arrived at the heli pad - Arctic Heli.
First part of the drive was pretty uneventful - rain, fog and more rain... Finally the weather cleared about 200 km from Ukareyri. The drive took us from the very south tip of the island to the very north.
We are now only 60 km away from the Arctic circle. The nature is very intense and raw with an amazing aura and presence.
Hello everyone,
We arrived in Reykjavik 6 hrs ago and will be spending the night here before driving up north to the troll peninsula.
Aspen, Colorado. Castle Peak, East Face, B-day Trip report
Hey friends and family,
Here are some photos and a trip report of our epic day on April 27th. I was lucky to be joined by close friends Mark Welgos, Greg Shaffran, Darcy Conover, and Brett Conover. The goal was to ski the East face of Castle Peak. We didn't even hit a bump in the road.

User of Contact Series I/O Euro Tee for under dry top/pfd. Why? Warmth, Quick Drying, Aroma or lack there of on back to back to back guiding stints. HUN Hoody for everything else and anything being back on land offers. Why? Because.
